who i am
Hi, my name is José Dutra. I am a Frontend Web Developer who has been working in the field since 2017.
As a developer, I enjoy the opportunity to be challenged every day with new technologies and projects that require me to solve problems and develop my logical thinking.
what do i love
I received a gift that I like to put into practice: helping people to solve problems. Often the technology approach is a great ally for business growth. I offer solutions ranging from a mobile-first responsive design, progressive enhancement and single-page applications.
Code, faith, curiosity...
Coding: I've been working with HTML, CSS, and JS as well as their frameworks like Bootstrap and React, and pre-processors like SASS.
Faith: I believe that a man without faith is like a ship without a helm, so I try to exercise my faith as a good Christian.
Curiosity: As an amateur sushi-man, I appreciate making sushi for friends and relatives.

HTML
HTML is the foundation of a good website. I make use of HTML semantics to improve screen-reader accessibility and SEO. I always make sure my markup is W3C validated.
CSS3
I use SASS for my CSS. I aim for well-organized non-repetitive stylesheets. I use Bootstrap, as the starting point for my designs and take it from there with custom modifications.
JAVASCRIPT
JS is a language of many quirks. My knowledge in scripting languages has helped me comprehend its mechanics in how to create dynamically updating content.
